The kick-off of AUTOMATA will be held at Gipsoteca di Arte Antica e Antiquarium, University of Pisa. qbrobotics is one of the partners with universities and archaeological research institutes from various countries such as Spain, France, Croatia and Israel.
This interesting European project aims to realise a robotic system for the handling, cataloguing and creation of an interactive database for archaeological finds with the help of artificial intelligence.
The safe and adaptive gripping systems of qbrobotics will be a key element to grasp and manipulate delicate archaeological artefacts without compromising their integrity and appearance. Furthermore, qbrobotics will take care of the integration, testing and replication of the robotic stations that will be delivered to the beneficiary Museums and Research Centres of the project.
